Q How can I know which Korean class level is right for me?

You can check your approximate level by taking the Self-Level Test below.

If you are still unsure about which class to register for after taking the test, please contact us at picl-admin@postech.ac.kr

Go to “My Applications” on PICL Reservation

 👇 Take the Self-Level Test 👇

Basic 1

Can you read Hangul (한글)?

① No, I cannot read Hangul yet.

② I have just started learning Hangul.

③ I want to learn Korean from the very beginning.

Beginner 1

Can you understand the sentences below? If not, Beginner 1 is recommended.

Beginner 1.5

Can you understand the sentences below? If not, Beginner 1.5  is recommended.

Beginner 2

Can you understand the passage below? If not, Beginner 2  is recommended.

Intermediate 1

If you can comfortably understand the passage below, Intermediate 1 is recommended.
