Q How can I know which Korean class level is right for me?

You can check your approximate level by taking the Self-Level Test below.

If you are still unsure about which class to register for after taking the test, please contact us at picl-admin@postech.ac.kr

You may be asked to take an offline level test and have a consultation with a Korean language professor to determine the most suitable class for you.

 👇 Take the Self-Level Test 👇

Basic Lv.1

① This is my first time studying Korean.

② I am starting from the very beginning and will learn the Korean alphabet (Hangul) from scratch.

Basic Lv.2

① I can already read the Korean consonants and vowels (Hangul).

② I am able to recognize basic Hangul characters but still need beginner-level Korean lessons.

Beginner Lv.1

① I’ve learned some Korean, but I still need to improve my basic skills.

② I want to speak Korean accurately.

Beginner Lv.2

I can read and understand the passage below.

Intermediate Lv.3

I can read and understand the passage below.
