포스텍 언어문화원은 제1기 PICLA(피클라) 학생들을 대상으로 오리엔테이션을 개최하고 본격적인 프로그램 운영을 시작했다. 

PICLA는 지난해 시범 및 수습 운영 기간을 거쳐 올해 공식적으로 출범하였으며 학생 간 언어 및 문화 교류 활성화를 목표로 운영된다. 

제1기 PICLA(피클라) 학생들은 앞으로 16주 동안 활동하며 학생들과 함께 한국어 연습과 생활 언어 학습 등 다양한 언어 교류 활동에 참여하게 된다. 또한 문화 체험 및 교류 프로그램을 통해 서로의 문화를 이해하고 글로벌 소통 역량을 키워나갈 예정이다. 

언어문화원은 이번 프로그램을 통해 실질적인 언어 학습 기회를 제공하는 동시에 학생 간의 지속적인 교류와 글로벌 커뮤니티 형성을 지원할 계획이다. 

The POSTECH Institute of Culture and Language (PICL) held an orientation for the first cohort of PICLA students and officially launched the program.

PICLA was formally established this year following a pilot and trial operation period last year, with the goal of promoting language and cultural exchange among students.

The first cohort of PICLA students will participate in the program for the next 16 weeks, engaging in various language exchange activities such as Korean conversation practice and everyday language learning with fellow students. In addition, through cultural experience and exchange programs, participants will have opportunities to better understand each other’s cultures and develop global communication skills.

Through this program, PICL aims to provide practical language learning opportunities while also supporting continuous interaction among students and fostering a global community.
